How do I wash my OWL face towel?
Always wash your face towel on a cool or low temperature cycle (less 40°C). Avoid using fabric softeners or bleaching agents - over time these can leave a build up of deposit on the face towel that will affect their absorption.
How often should I replace my face towel?
We recommend updating your face towel every 1–3 months depending on use the number of uses/washer per week.
Can I use OWL Towels to remove makeup?
Absolutely. A damp OWL Towel is a great, reusable way to remove makeup — especially with a gentle cleanser.
What is the best way to use my OWL Towel?
Incorporating face towels into any daily routine should be as easy as brushing your teeth. Simply choose a face towel material that suits your preferences! Morning Wash - start the day clean! Evening Cleanse - rinse off the day! Remove sunscreen, skincare, make up etc. Use your towels again and again - no harsh wet wipes or daily waste.

Why should I use the OWL face towels rather than the disposable face towels?
OWL face towels are a reliable and long term sustainable options. Unlike disposable face washers that constantly run out, we believe a dedicated OWL face towel is a reusable option that is always there to ensure a consistent routine. Unlike OWL face towel, disposable towels can mean higher and indefinite costs per month, and although disposable towels are marketed as ‘biodegradable’, we find that most people don’t have composting set ups which means that single-use by its nature = more waste.
What makes OWL Towels different from a regular towel?
OWL Towels are made specifically for your face — just the right size to fit over both hands while drying (no more tiny squares!), softer, and gentler than a regular bath towel which gets rotated around the household (and your body!).
What materials do you offer?
We offer three options: Bamboo Cotton, Cotton Terry, and Muslin Cloth — each with a slightly different feel and finish to suit your preference.
Which towel is right for me?
